With this new version 2.0, THE BLOCK goes another step ahead in my permanent objective of providing Macintosh users with an easy, efficient and cheap solution for protecting their computers. I am confident it will not take long for you to appreciate the benefits you will get from the combination of previous THE BLOCK features together with the powerful protection enhancement introduced in version 2.0.
At a time when the Macintosh community is worried by the future of our amazing computers, I am more than ever committed to keeping THE BLOCK alive and improving it as much as I can. However, developing a program like THE BLOCK requires a great deal of time and effort. I rely on THE BLOCK sales to fund my programming work and to provide technical support for users.
As you know, THE BLOCK is distributed as Shareware and is not crippled in any way. Many Shareware authors have told me that they increased their sales significantly by including protection mechanisms. I prefer not to do this.
